At No.13, we love keeping up with all the trends involving skin therapy.
An exciting new trend that we have embraced whole heartedly is ‘Skin Flooding’.
What is skin flooding?
Skin flooding involves layering moisturising products in a particular order to flood the skin with hydration, increase the efficiency and absorption of products and to protect the skin barrier. It’s perfect for those looking for a treatment abundant in hydration, a treatment to help calm and deeply hydrate skin that’s thirsty!
The result? Juicy, plump, calm skin!
At No13 we have designed a skin flooding facial with our deluxe products from the Gernetic & Nimue range. As you lay in our warmed heated bed with the lights dimmed, we start the Skin Flooding treatment. Using fibro a gentle toner, removing any make up or sunscreen, moving to our cleanse with the milky Glyco cleanser, sweeping all over the face neck, and décolletage,.
Then on to a gentle exfoliation. Liberally applying Nimue exfoliating enzyme, this luxe gel, rich in papaya and bromelain (found in pineapple) enzymes is slowly and methodically massaged over the skin. We use slow and relaxing techniques as the enzymes gently picks up any debris on the skin.
After removing with a warm towel infused with essential oils, the flooding begins!
Starting with ‘Mito Special’, we spritz the skin with this serum, rich in peptides and potato extract to increase the energy production on the skin in a similar way to how LED light therapy works. Serum number two, Veniolo Special which is rich in vitamin B3 and niacinamides, is then spritzed.
The best part: the massage!
The Syncro regenerative cream with amino acids, magnesium, vitamins A, C and E, is mixed with the unique joomo cleansing treatment, infused with honey extract, orange oils, cloves &essential oils.
Time to transport you to a blissful state.. And a little more spritz with Demaquillant Douceur, an active, micellar, gentle cleansing lotion which is packed with lime blossom, chamomile, ginseng, and witch hazel.
Keep on layering! Sequential mask, is a unique one-of-a-kind mask packed with pre and post biotics, colloidal, oatmeal, hyaluronic, acid and ceramides. As this magnificent mask is working on the skin, we give you a beautiful deep foot massage, then move on to the the hands and arms. Heaven!
Now time to cool off, we gently remove the sequential mask, keeping the serum from the mask on the skin, we incorporate the unique ice globes. These cold glass facial tools are used to perform a purposeful lymphatic drainage massage to cool and drain the areas around the eyes, sinuses, mouth and neck, moving in rhythmic movements.
All our flooding facial products have been applied and the skin is bouncy, soft, hydrated and depuffed.
To finish, our last layer is Avocado Zinc sunscreen. This 100% natural sunscreen has a factor 50, water resistant for 4 hours and has a gorgeous slight tint!
